What makes Poochofnyc and LittleFreddieTinkles so appealing?

We were recently asked what it was about our dogs and our photos that have made them so popular. Upon reflection of our processes and dedication to generating quality, creative content we came up with the following which may or may not appear in a major publication:

Our pups Agador and Fred (IG: PoochofNYC and LittleFreddieTinkles) are Maltipoos with lots of fluff. Their big hair is fluffy and cute like a teddy bear which is relatable to the child in all of us and is part of the lure for sure. The hair also poses challenges for us in keeping perfectly coiffed and from shading their eyes or being blown out of shape by the wind during an outdoor photo shoot.

Capturing a still image of a dog in general can be challenging. We find it’s best for them to get their exercise in first and afterward it is easier to get them to focus on a desired pose. Treats also help immensely at this point. The shoot generally takes less than ten minutes and then it’s back to the studio to upload the day’s captures for review.

We believe there is an innocence and a beauty in all dogs and when given the proper circumstances; lighting, background, some creativite styling, and cooperation by the dog, their personality can be successfully captured in a photograph or video. The best captures will make you feel something, smile, laugh, or just simply make your day a little brighter. In addition to producing a successful capture we also have the advantage of creating a caption to further enhance the impact with our audience. Just like a cartoon drawing, a well thought caption can make a good photo great.

  1. I love them. My daughter @julieismyname met them in NYC. She said it was better than meeting celebrities. I think you are helping people become better and more compassionate pet owners–nothing better than that.

  3. My fiancé and our two kids are obsessed with Agador. We always check to see what he’s up to. We go to New York a lot and are hoping to run into you on our next trip. We have a Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) named Pepper Potts who we thing is pretty rad too. Keep posting 🐶🐾💙

    The main reason I follow them is for Agador’s “beech” and their clothing is an inspiration to me.

  8. My husband and I have been following ” the boys ” for almost a year now! We look for the posts about three times a day but surely every morning which certainly start a day with a smile. Having met them, we can say they are truly better than we imagined and opposite personalities which gives them their own way with people. They are loved and adored by their parents and that is obvious. The best thing to know is that although we see them as ” characters ” they are truly fur babies who doggie things in their own world. They have been a blessing to us as we enjoy their ” thoughts and remarks ” along with poses that crack us up! Well done and thank you!

  9. My day is never complete until I get my daily fix of Agador and LFT from IG! They bring a constant smile to my face (and my wife’s)! Getting to meet these celebrity pooches in person was a dream come true (and their dads’ were pretty cool too) and I hope to one day meet them again in person!

  11. I look after a Toy poodle of similar colouring. It’s their character they have such a lovely nature. You can see how much you love them the way you interact with them. I’m always showing my daughters their pictures. When I get to go back to NYC I’d love to see them in person.

  12. Me and my fiancé love Agador and Freddie. Seeing their pics and videos really brightens up my day and some photos makes us laugh – super cute. We have an adorable Schnoodle boy Max – phantom coloured with hair like agador. and and when we get him cut teddy bear style we love brushing his hair so it looks big and fluffy too. It is challenging maintaining the hair! Love what you do – thank you 🙂
